I’ve known Molly and Mark for a few years from the gym we went to in town. Mark is in the Coast Guard, so they’ve moved around quite a bit and learned to grow roots in new unfamiliar places together, all over the country. Their next move, just a few weeks after this session is out to Michigan, this time with a new addition to their family.

I love capturing maternity sessions with couples. It’s a closing of chapters and an incredibly special new beginning. The most special new beginning there is for a couple. This is their first child, a little boy, and I’m so excited for this new season for the two of them.

It was a special time, capturing these photos in the town where they started their family. By the ocean. A piece of nature they both love, but will leave behind in their move to the Midwest. A place that will leave them with fond memories of a time that everything changed and began for their growing family.
